Below is a sampling of the specialty parts and products that have been manufactured at Norman Control over the years.

This is a special 84” Lift Table custom made to a customers needs and specifications.  In this situation we modified a standard 84” Lift Table design to what is shown above.  The Working surface was dropped down on an angle to create a bin for the laundry to drop into.  We also extended the depth of the sides in order to create a larger bin to hold bigger loads.  The final modification was in the placement of the air pressure valve, on this model it was moved to the side, due to the fact that a normal under the work surface placement would not have been easily accessible, it also has a guard to protect the valve as well as protect the workers from accidental engagement of the Lift Table.

Here is another example of a modified Lift Table, in this case the lift table was in fact turned into a dumper.  The working surface of the table was removed in or to create room for the conveyor belt system.  The basic strengths of the table remain in place though as it remains able to effortlessly to pick up Norman Laundry Trucks with the twin air cylinder system.  Instead of lifting to a sorting surface the items are dumped onto a conveyor belt. The table was modified to hold this specific conveyer system to the customers’ specifications.  The valve system was custom to have valves mounted on the underside of the conveyor on both sides for multiple working options.  The power to run the conveyor was also mounted on the side of the table for easy assembly at the point of delivery, as well as an easily accessible emergency shut off switch.
